In my studio, every day I turn to my own personal library or collection of resources for research or guidance. As a distance learning student, I imagine that it is difficult for assessors and tutors to imagine where their students work; thus I have illustrated part of my studio for this purpose:
Above: I use a shelving system, along with magazine racks to store my resources. The canvas bag in the top left image, showcases my method of collecting material from study visits and other exhibitions. It gets stored in this bag, before sorting and either using within my work or getting stored in an organised way within my shelving system.
The table in the bottom right image has been made specifically to my height to use as a print making area.
This insight, albeit small gives both tutors and assessors an insight into my personal way of working; making for a more rounded understanding of who I am as an artist.
